Found buyer for 5R09K125001

Found a buyer for 5R09K125001. The guy has bought several cars from me before. He has already placed a deposit but wanted the original 64 1/2 hood on the Kar. I painted the hood and put it on for him and took a few pics. Just wanted to share what the car looked like with the Thunderbolt hood and then now with the 64 1/2 hood on it...Glad to be passing this Kar on to someone who will drive and enjoy it...Ready to start on something new..

Looks good. I prefer the stock hood as well. Congrats on the sale.

Thanks,yeah the stock hood does look pretty good. No i didn't get 75K, but it sold for 70K.

Here is an interesting Mustang Monthly article on the car. I'm presuming the low San Jose VIN played some part in the high selling price?

Unbelievable but true. The guy buying the car has never seen the car in person only in pictures during the rebuild. He has bought cars from me before and understands the value of the car and is willing to pay the price for it.

Beautiful car and congratulations on the sell! I believe one of the other posters is correct in believing the VIN# had something to do with such a strong sell. I once owned #9 (I believe) and the low VIN sold the car for me.
