DANG. I offered the buy it now, made a grand deposit, hit a snag with financing, found a spendy but do-able way to work it, he offered me time to get the cheaper financing together, and then, out of the blue, lists it, with no " buy it now or I list it " ultimatum, just blindside's me, and sells it out from under me. My story, he might have a different one, but I wasn't given the chance to close the deal before he cut me off. I AM a little bummed. as my daughter says, " oh well ". I think I can safely say, " it's mine ", as the transaction is in process. The convert may be gone, [knock on wood] too, a wonderful Kar in the right hands. Still waiting for confirmation.

What DRAMA !! Finally, yes it is mine. I am a little numb, but it seems the gods were with me and I found a way to make it happen. I don't know if any of you have wrung your hands over whether or not you should make the leap, but for me, it was the second big leap for a hipo, the first for an exquisite convert that needed a restoration, and the second, needing nothing.
