1965 Mustang K code needs restoration

  • 1965 Mustang K code coupe. Needs restoration. California car, with original black and yellow plates, has been in dry storage the last 20 years. The glass was taken out and restoration was started. I have new rugs, seat covers and window felts along with 15 X 7 steel style wheels. I was going to keep the motor and part out the car, however, the body is in pretty good condition, and the colors are good on the car. I felt someone else may have the time to restore the vehicle. I currently have too many other projects that I am working on.

  • Is your K a '65 or an on-the-cusp '64.5; alternator correct, '64.5 engine compartment horns or '65 front radiator? I've got a 10 June 1964 Dearborn born 07K so I was just curious.

And 50 miles north of SF, could that be Santa Rosa? That was my old hometown back in the '50/'60's ending with a junior year at Montgomery HS.

    Good luck on the sale!
