I just bought this k code convertible but I already sold the engine that I was planning on putting in the car so, since the car will not work for the business that I am doing, I'll take a clean A code fastback or convertible as trade or I will sell the car as is. I bought the car thinking it was going to be a project but it turned out to be a great driver. Although the previous owner said the floors might have been replaced, upon my inspection when I got the car the are very solid and look to be originals to me. I am very imppressed with the car. If interested, I can be reached at 702-768-9972.

I just want to make sure you guys are aware that although the floors are in good shape there are a couple area that are rusted through that will need attention. The quater panels which the previous owner mentioned were patch were not, all the guy did was glued a thin piece of aluminum to the inside of the quater panel to cover the rust that was at the very bottom. I pulled the aluminum piece off and it is solid behind it. I had a shop look at both quarters and I was told they can be patched.

The car is sold. The buyer hired an inspector to come look at the car with him and was very happy. I do have a 66 k code coupe factory GT, no motor and tranny and a 65 k code convertible with a motor for $35K. Both need to be restored.

Hi, can you send pics of the 65 K convertible with engine for $35K. Is it the original engine and tranny, rear end, etc? What is missing.
Send pics to wallaceandkaren@yahoo.com

HI, is the 66 coupe an automatic? If so, send me a private message on how we can talk. Thanks.<img src=images/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

They are both 4 spd cars. The $35K is for both cars not just the convertable. As soon as I make it to the shop, I will take some pictures.
