Numbers In my sheet metal what Do they mean

Hi All.

I have these numbers stamped in the sheet metal panels of my car could anyone tell me what they mean if they are a date code could anyone tell me how to read them please.

2 24 D2

2 = Month = February

24 = day = 24th

D = Dearborn stamping plant

2 = Shft = 2nd shift of the day

If the D was a B would that indicate that it was from the Buffalo NY ford stamping plant
