Engine Dates

    My heads have a casting date of 4M17; my block has a casting date of 5A5; and the engine assembly date is stamped 5A14. Are these dates what you might expect to have on a 65 Dearborn Kar with a scheduled build date of A11?

    That seems well within the expected... Keep in mind that the scheduled build date is not always the actual build date. In your case, I'd say the car was probably built around the end of the month of January 1965.
