I had an oil change coupon for $15 at the local Ford dealership, and I can't even get 5 qts of oil and a filter for that so I thought I'd let the chaps at the dealership work on my car. It must have been a slow day, b/c it took about 10 employees to get 'er done! You would have thought I drove in with the presidential limo or something.
The first fun part was when the guy couldn't figure out how to open the hood or find the VIN, and I showed him where to find it, but his "computer" wouldn't accept the VIN b/c of course there weren't enough digits. Then, I had to show the other guy how to remove the breather cap to put the oil in. I had to show the guy underneath where the zertz were for the suspension. By that time most of them were scared to even try adding the oil to the car. They sure had fun with my car, and I had fun hanging out showing them the finer points of an old Mustang.
Eventually the boss had to come over and ask why it took 10 of his employees to service my car, and then he saw it and his jaw dropped. Then he goes to get some pics of his '67 fastback to show me. I'll tell you what, if I get another one of those coupons I'll be sure to do it again!
