Joyce Yates owns that 1966 GT350S. It is Dark green with White stripes. It was the prtotype with the Paxton on it.

I have used the pertronix for 15 years on my car also. I have never had any trouble. If you use the factory hook up you are not getting 12 volts at the coil. I just wanted to know if anybody did run full 12 volts to the coil then you would get a hoter spark because you do not have the built in resistor wire.

K Man how did you run the + wire to the coil. Did you run a new wire with 12 volts to the coil.

I have done it before. Remove oil pan back off main bearnig caps then remove the rear cap. Remove old seal then slide new seal in you want the ends to be in the 12 and 6 postion instead of the 9 and 3 postion. Make sure you put the new seal in facing the right way or the oil will run out in yourbell housing. After you get it in re torque your main caps and put your oil pan back on. Do not forget to put oil back in your engine.

I used a older can opener with a rag on it it worked great.

The intake gasket has a tab that interlocks with the head gasket. never had any problem with the gasket moving. For the front and rear i use gasket cement let it dry .

I have found that when you take the spring pearch off of the upper control arm the metal around the bolt holes had cracks and had to replace the upper control arm.
