Exhaust and GT tips

Does anyone know if the Scott Drake concours GT tips that have been highly rated on here have the same size pipe all the way thru ?. I ask because the pipe in the tips I have reduces significantly in size inside the tip and I cannot see the point in having a nice 2" or 2.25" exhaust system that has to struggle with a restricted end. I will probably buy a Motive system and make my own full bore tips if it turns out the Scott Drake ones are small - anyone know? Thanks

I have used the Drake GT concours tips and yes, they do "neck down" in size just after where they clamp on the pipe. They look just exactly like the originals, if you have one or have seen one.

Drake also makes the modified version with a 2" straight pipe and wider vent openings. They are on Ebay, you can take a look. here is a link
