New member from Texas

  • Hello from Texas everyone. Here is another K kar fanatic that has been reading this post for a long time.I've owned raced and restored many mustangs over the years and I never quite got over the best I ever had a 66 fastback K code GT that I special ordered in the fall of 65 kept it for three years and traded it,in california where I believe it still is.It's in the registry vin 126322 sure would like to see the kar again. If someone knows the owner I would like to chat with him. Anyway it took me this long to find a K kar that needs a complete restoration so I will be posting a lot of questions as I go along for I would like to make my kar as close to original as I possibly can without going broke.Happy to be a part of history

  • Hey Tito.

Welcome to the boards. One thing that is a given, there's plenty of helpful knowledgeable people in here that are only too happy to help out.

    Have fun.

    Regards,

    René

About 5 years back I contacted the DMV in Sacramento concerning a '71 Vette I purchased new in Riverside. Sure enough they were able to provide a name and city of the then current owner, who I had a long chat with. Perhaps the DMV can help you out as well. At the time the fee was juct $5 bucks. </font id='Comic Sans MS'>
