I believe that car belonged to Tim Shanahan and he bought it unfinished. It was for sale on ebay and those are the only images that I think we have seen of the car. It is supposed to be low mileage and lacking a number of original parts. He is in Northern California and I am close to him. I tried to arrange to see it so I could get a look at undercarriage chalk marks and was unsuccessful.

Dave (round2k),
I agree with your belief that Tim Shanahan owned the car. It certainly looked like an easy /great kar to restore.
Burt,
Good luck with your restoration! Please keep us posted of your progress and remember, posts without pictures are almost worthless!

Hello, Tim Shanahan here. Yes that was my car, I sold it to Burt about a month ago and he was great to work with. I purchased the original motor from the previous owner and have since sold it to Burt to get this car back together.
By the way, I sold the car because I found and purchased a 65 gtk fb. It is in my garage and I am putting parts together for it at this time.
This board has always been great to work with, thanks.

Sounds like good news all the way around.
Burt - can you get images of your undercarriage marks and post photos of them?

1. Make sure you have the picture on your computer.
2. Size should be no bigger then 1/4 size of your computer screen.
Use Microsoft Paint program to resize photo to no more than 800x600 to fit the page. (Image/Resize)
3. Open "Post New Reply" or "New Topic" here on eKschange.
4. Best to open second window "first eKschange, second window open:
5. "Brouse" looks in your computer pictures file. Select your picture
to post.
6. "Up Load" green botton. wait wait...
7. Highlight second line, looks like:
[img ]thelinktoyourpicture [ /img ]
Copy this line. Go back to eKschange paste into your post.
8. "Preview" make sure it fits on screen.
9. If image is too large, use the "Resize" to reduce its size to 600x800 to fit the page properly.Good Luck!

I have been using a free photo sizing program for several years that is pretty amazing, and user friendly. You put all your large images in one folder, and set up a "small" image folder to receive the resized images. Launch the program and follow the prompts and that's it; no need for doing images one at a time. From there you can upload whatever you need from the smaller folder.
