Looking to purchase a K-Code.....what to look for and price range?

  • Hi all, a guy I know has had a k-code fastback for 30 years sitting in his garage and he's looking to sell. He claims it has all the k-code specific parts, but I'm curious what are some things I should be looking for to confirm this? It's a running driving black fastback so it's not a rust bucket, but obviously not perfect. I'm an early Bronco guy so I'm not as familiar with these Mustangs.

Your best way to go on this Kar is to hire a knowledgable inspector to do a prepurchase inspection.

Depending on location of the Kar, I may be able to help.

Just wanted to get an update on if you ended up purchasing this kar. I could be of assistance as well along with Fred. If you would rather do a video call when you're with this kar please let me know. -Evan
