Hi, I've had my '65 K Convertible [non-GT] since 1983. I'm looking to see where it falls in the rare column. Here's the Data Plate:

Color - R - Ivy Green

Trim - 26 - Black Crinkle Vinyl

Date - 20Q - March 20, 1965

DSO - 13? - New York

Axle - 5 - 3.50

Trans - 5 4 Speed Manual

Convertibles are the rarest body style for K-codes! Mine was assembled in San Jose and has spent it's entire life locally.

I have had several Konvertibles and at the time I chose to only have KGT pony interior versions as they are the most rare. All Konvertibles are rare because back in the day, people wanted a Hipo for going fast and the convertible model was the heaviest and least structurally strong which, at the time, made them less deireable. Now they are highly prized regardless of their configuration. Congratulations on holding onto yours for the long time that you have.
