This was the inaugural year for the highly sought-after K code with less than 1% all mustangs made, this is one of 466 known cars, and this is a nicely restored example that believed to be only 62,000 miles. It all makes this exceptional car in its own league of extraordinary. Something this significant also gets its details right. This car was restored in 2017 with the all original panels and the paint is laser straight high quality job including all the jambs. The trim is complete and brightly shining; mostly original, the gaps are tight and uniform; and the doors have a smooth and confident action. Glass is all original with ford logo scripts. And while K-code cars have a rarity by the handful, these are usually not so equipped. So it makes this spec K-code the kind of uniqueness that gets singled out by true enthusiasts.
