For sale is this set of grille surround trim. These are NOS trim sections, so the are the matching correct argent paint insert color. The one inside the the package, such be perfect. The unwrapped one has perfect paint, yet the shiny outside trim has a very minor scratch just so you know. . The small connector peice comes with the package sale. The peice is correct for the 1966 and also the 1965 GT. If you want these for a 1965. just let me know and I will credit the sale $50 and I'll keep that small peice

I will admit that I have never seen these a date ink stamped on these before. I believe that it cetainly could have happened though as these are the really early boxes. These moldings originally came in these type of boxes and they do deteriorate badly with heat and slight moisture. The later productions came in wrappers that deteriorated badly as well. I would need to look at my stock but I believe that the right hand one was the only ones that ended up in wrappers later. I believe that the left hand side were always boxed. The tape residue on the moldings is common on early boxes and fun to remove. I really believe these to be correct as advertised as the patina is correct for the era. Amazingly these are not over priced for what they are.
