5F09K375784 Engine, Transmission and Rear End Found

  • This drive train is currently in a C code convertible that a person is selling with the drive train. It is a waste for the drive train not to go back to the Kar. The original Kar was raced at Riverside back in the day and the owner swapped the drive train into the convertible. There was nothing wrong with the fastback as far as I know, so I believe that it is still out there.

Being as the convertible is going to be sold, snoozers lose if you need this drivetrain.

  • FYI, 5F09K375784 is listed in the 4th edition hipo registry on page 102. It is has this data plate info Body 63A, Color A, Trim D6, Date 15M, DSO 53, Axle 5, Tran 5, and is listed in CA as of publication Date in 2006; I do not know if it is listed in the earlier 3 editions back to 1994...

I think this car may still be around because:

According to the National Insurance Crime Bureau,

    VIN: 5F09K375784

    VINCheck® Theft Record

VIN: 5F09K375784 has not been identified as a vehicle listed in the VINCheck® Theft Records.

VINCheck® is updated regularly as additional information is reported.

    VINCheck® Total Loss Record

VIN: 5F09K375784 has not been identified as a vehicle listed in the VINCheck® Salvage Records.

VINCheck® is updated regularly as additional information is reported.

Likewise, according to the  National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS) Searching for VIN 5F09K375784not found!Sorry, VIN #5F09K375784 was not found.

This means that 5F09K375784 has not been titled or registered in the last 10 years in the USA or Canada.

Ergo, if 5F09K375784 is still alive it is stashed somewhere or was destroyed outside of the system years ago.

Thus, 5F09K375784 may still be in CA somewhere. The last known address would most likely be found in the records of the CA DMV archives if it was ever tagged there.

Also, the guys that had the HIPOMUSTANG.COM registry website has let it go offline. They may have had the name of the last owner and exact location of 5F09K375784.

I think 5F09K375784 Body is still around because it is one of those K codes someone took the time to list all its' data plate info in the HIPO registry back in the day. I am surprised the engine and trans are still around. Keep up the good work.

It would be nice to reunite 5F09K375784 with it's engine and trans.

Best of luck on 5F09K375784 quest for reunification...
