genuine or repo??
doesnt match anything i have seen before hence why i didnt bid on it.
note it has the gold edging not the silver that is most commonly seen, reminds me of the early Australian falcon style.

I am in agreement with you on this. The reverse side is not like any original or NOS one that I have in stock. The GT shows clearly on the reverse side of originals. I have a lot of these in stock but no Repro ones for comparison. Thank you for bringing this to the attention of the board.

There are 2 attaching pins on the back of each - attaching clips for each included. They have never been installed on a vehicle. One original box included - box has scuffs & holes on it.

New Old Stock - Out of Box - Genuine Ford - Ceramic "GT" Fender Emblems for the 1965 & early 1966 (built before 10/1/65) Mustang.
These original GT emblems are in FAIR - NOS - condition. Not show quality. Each has damage & imperfections. Photos #3, & 4 show heavy scratching on the letter "G". Photos #5 & 6 shows a "cloudiness" in the right lower corner. The other badge shows damage at the top of the emblem - see photos #8 & 9. ( This is inside & cannot be felt on the face). It also has a scratch visible in photo #10 on the right upper border.
There are 2 attaching pins on the back of each. No clips. Each is marked with the FoMoCo logo as well as "C5ZB-16098-G". They have never been installed on a vehicle. No box.

Photos #5, 6, 7 show bright lines below the surface. The other emblem has a "dot" at the bottom of the letter "T" (photo #8) - as well as other marks below the surface (photos #9, 10). The chroming quality on each is mediocre - not a smooth look (photo #12). Each emblem has 2 attaching pins on the back. 4 small plastic clips are included. One original box.
