    Here is an Ebay auction for a new C3RA Wedge Cobra scattershield bellhousing by Ebay member "ccmarsh155" with a Buy-It-Now of $2,000.00 or make offer:

    Shelby Cobra 260 289 5 Bolt Bellhousing Scattershield. Original 1963 1964 5 bolt Cobra safety bellhousing. Manufactured by Wedge Engineering and sold by Ford and Shelby. Part number C3RA-6394-A. Correct for 63 or 64 Cobra with 5 bolt 260 or 289 block. This is a new old stock NOS part that has been sand blasted and powder coated black. All bolt holes are excellent and the threads have been chased to remove powdercoat. The Cobra logo was ground off at the factory for some odd reason, but it is very obvious that it was there originally as the bottom edge of the letters are still visible below the ground section. I have seen one other ground like this on an original car. Overall condition is perfect with the exception of the logo removal. When installed in the car the defect is not detectable. This is the only scattershield that fits between the frame rails of a Cobra or Cobra Daytona Coupe without structurally deficient modifications. Price plus free shipping reflects this defect.
