"There are many items that are important on the Mustangs; especially when you are talking about a K Code. These cars bring a premium over other early Mustangs as they are SO RARE. In 1965 and 1966 these K Codes were cars from which the very rare Shelby’s were made. These K Codes were shipped in batches of 50 from the San Jose, CA plant to the Shelby location in California.. Of all the Mustangs made in 1965 and 1966, only .75% of them were K Codes, which is less than 1%"
If you notice the 1968 issue date it is safe to assume it is the ONE and ONLY title ever issued for this car
These K Codes were special in that they had the very famous 289 Cubic Inch motor with 271 HP. In 1965 all the K Codes were 4-speed cars. They had quicker steering than the regular Mustangs plus heavy-duty suspension and a 9-inch rear end.
