This pump is advertised as having a Hipo impeller but it is NOT a Hipo impeller. It has just a standard replacement stamped tin impeller.

Up for sale is a Remanufactured (by Ford) 289 HIPO Aluminum Water Pump for 1965 Mustangs or Shelbys. This isn't a made up hipo water pump rebuilt using a reproduction impeller.

This has the correct 6 vein cast iron impeller vs the standard 8 vein cast iron or stamped steel.
The engineering number cast in the front is C5AE-8505-C and the casting date is 1964. I can't be certain on the number of the dots to determine the month, but I see at least 6 (June).

Shipping via USPS Priority Mail is a Flat $15.00 to the lower 48.

The seller advertises this as brand new, but it is clearly stamped remanufactured on the pump and on the Fred Jones box. That is why I posted this pump as rebuilt.
