This part is new in the original Ford box and in great condition. This is the transmission speedometer drive gear. It will fit 1965 Mustang models with a Ford 4 speed transmission and 3:50 or 4:11 gears. Nice part to have as an extra.

Please note that the parts I sell are mostly NOS [new old stock]. This simply means they are new original Ford. They may or may not be in a box. They will all be in good “never been installed” condition. However they will NOT be perfect. All these parts were mass produced and Ford never intended for them to be perfect in todays standards. I posted this gear on here as a warning as it is incorrectly boxed and is NOT actually a C5ZZ 17285 A gear. This one has 7 teeth where the correct one will have 6 teeth. I have already notified the seller of this.
