289 HiPo Distributor C5OF12127 E Shelby Mustang Dual Point Distributor. This is a factory original 289 HiPo dual point distributor from a K-code Mustang or Shelby GT350. It has a part number of C5OF-12127-E. The date code is 5EB which is 5-1965/E-may/B-second week. The date would put it right at the end of 1965 production in late February - early May. The housing has a number of C5OF-12131-B. It also has the correct FoMoCo logo. The distributor looks to be in good shape. The housing only has a few incidental marks (see pictures). It just needs a good cleaning before the restoration. The power wire is exposed. Overall, this is a hard-to-find original distributor for your high-end restoration.
