Ford Parts lists this exact part number for this 17.125" dia. fan w/5/8" centering hole for Fairlane 289 Spec. 63,64 and then including Mustang 289 Spec 65, 66, 67 and Mustang 68 289. In 69 it is listed as the fan blade for the Boss 302. A friend that owns a Cobra said he was sure it was correct for the 289 Cobra but I could not verify that.

This fan is dated as March of 1963 making it a very early date for even a 63 Hipo Fairlane. This design did not change at all for the later Hipo Mustangs for 64 1/2, 65 and 66. The latest date that I have seen for a 67 Mustang fan like this is December of 1966. Ford did make the change to the cheap looking standard fan some time after that December 1966 date for the 1967 model year.

This fan is a reproduction produced by Fords original vendor in 1985. It is NOT an original but other than when it was produced, it is identical to an original but without the FoMoCo logo. I have communicated all of this with the seller, and he is NOT trying to represent this fan as an original.

Ford did not use these cheezy fans until after, at least, December 1966 as I had a December 1966 real Hipo fan. Some 69 Boss 302's also used this cheezy fan.
