Hi Fred, i was thinking that also as being a repo fan , on another note was the 67 k code cooling fan the same as a standard 67 289 mustang cooling fan , is so was it because they added a larger radiator or just cutting cost . Chuck.

I had an early type Hipo fan dated November or December 1966 which would be for a 67 Kar. I will be where that fan is later this week and I will check the date code. I have heard of both the cheesy fan or the Hipo fan on 67 Hipos. The 69 Boss 302 came with both the cheesy fan or a 5 blade flex fan.
