  • given " equal" condition, the original drive train would be better, even with " some " wear on it, IMHO. <img src=images/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=images/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

  • I have been dealing with this question for several years. My experience is that original drivetrain cars are "collector" cars and will demand substanially more money - 30 to 50 percent or maybe more depending on the car. Cars that are not numbers matching and have had sheet metal replaced are valued just as drivers.
