This C8ZE Service Replacement balancer was <b>SOLD</b> for $375.00 by eBay seller "1strauss".
<b>DESCRIPTION</b>:
Harmonic Balancer HiPo 289 Ford Part # C5OZ 6316 C & Counter Weight C3OZ-6A360-A. Brand new in box/package from 1968!!!
Don't let this one get away!!! Up for auction is a brand new, still in the box Harmonic Balancer for a HiPo 289. This was purchased by my father in 1968 and put on a shelf until now. Please note, the box says C5OZ 6316 C, but the casting has C8ZE on it.
Also included is a 1 piece counter weight (C3OZ-6A360-A) which is also new in the envelope.
Since he hasn't used these in over 40 years, he decided to offer them up for auction to a Ford enthusiast who can put them to good use.
Neither of these parts has been on a car, however, over the past 40+ years their finish has acquired some minor oxidation. The pictures tell the story well.

** Please note, it appears this is a box for the C5 model, but the actual harmonic balancer has a casting mark of C8. It appears this was likely purchased in 1968, not 1966 as originally thought, from a Ford Dealer. Following the C8 is what appears to be "ZE". Again, the box lable has "C5OZ 616 C" on it, however, the actual casting imprint is "C8ZE".
