  • Here's an interesting <i>remanufactured</i> Autolite distributor that <b>SOLD</b> for an impressive $390.00.

    <b>DESCRIPTION</b>:

You are bidding on a very rare FOMOCO remanufactured 289 HiPo Dual Point distributor. Correct for the Shelby GT 350, and the Mustang, Comet, and Fairlane K code 289 HiPo. This is a remanufactured service replacement dual point distributor. Part number on the original box reads C5OZ-12127-E. The orginal tag that is attached to the front of the distributor reads C5OF-12127-E. The date code on the housing reads 4HD. The housing cores that Ford's Service Department used for remanufacturing these distributors may or may not have a part number on them. They discontinued remanufactured service replacement dual point distributors in 1978. This thing is sweet! It comes complete with the original new dual points, condenser and wire. You are bidding on the NOS distributor, not the original box.

  • Here's a used AUTOLITE distributor that is disassembled. It <b>SOLD</b> for $103.50.

    <b>DESCRIPTION</b>:

This is an Autolite dual point distributor that is disassembled, but all the parts look like they are all there, including the special clip that retains the advance, points cam. I believe it to be a service date, but 1971 might be early enough to be correct for something?

There is some minor rust pitting on the shaft. I took some emory cloth and polished it somewhat, and I believe it will be fine to run that way. The only thing that seems to be missing is the points lead to the coil. The casting # is C5OF 12127 E.
