Windsheild Washer Pump

Is there a time frame as to when Ford switched to the "2 bolt" type washer pump over the earlier "3 bolt"?

Again, I am referencing the VA Mustang catalog and they indicate that the 3 bolt unit was used from 64.5-66, and the 2 bolt unit looks to be '66 only.....unless Ford made a switch late in the '65 model year......

VA seems to be indicating that the earlier 3 bolt unit was used with single speed wipers and the later 2 bolt unit was used with 2 speed wipers......

The 3 screw washer pumps were used from '64.5 through early '66. As far as I know, the wiper speed (single or dual) had no impact on the type of washer pump used. Windshield washers were optional in '65 and standard in '66.

So the 2 bolt pump was used, it sounds like at the very end of the '66 production run?? was it used on other Ford products as well then??

The 2 screw pump was the predominant pump in '66. Yes, would have been used on other Fords, just like the previous version was used on multiple product lines.
