Would someone please tell how to identify if a bumper blade was OEM or not.
I have heard the fronts were date stamped, but where?
Were the rears also stamped and where? Thanks

What year car? Front and rear bumpers will be date stamped.
1965
Please tell me where to look for front and rear
Also what does the last number in the date format mean?
Thanks

On the front, it will be on a tab sticking out on the bottom on the LH side of the car. On the rear, it is usually reverse-stamped in the middle, above where the license plate light attaches.
The last digit, if it is the factory line part, indicates the model year. 4=1964, 5=1965, etc...
As an example, 12 23 M5 would mean December 23, 1964, since that was during the '65 production period. Although the part was technically made in 1964, the date format does not decipher that way for that particular date. I haven't studied transition periods for bumper date codes, but I would guess that there would be a change sometime in July or August.
Incidentally, I have original re-chromed bumpers here that illustrate the format above, both are December dates, one with M5 and one with M6.
