ENGINE MOUNTS COLOURS 1965 K

i am in the Process of painting Engine , was going too spray engine mounts and cast bracket Cast Grey , looking through pics on web i see some cars have Black Mounts that bolt too engine , and the Cast Bracket from chasis too engine mount is Cast Grey.

Can someone please Verify if this is correct.

I have seen the steel bracket that bolts to the block ether semigloss black or bare Metal. The chassis mounts are cast iron gray. The bottom steel metal bracket I have always seen black. That is probably due to the fact that it is a welded together brket and most brackets that have welds are dip painted. I hope this helps. Bob

Thanks Bob for your input , had previously had mounts sprayed semi black , will look at doing cast Iron Gray.
