Not there, a friend was and forwarded that info to me.
Hefty, YES; previous early cars have brought 350, 360K +/-
A car in the 100's serial # range sold for 300K or so recently, and while it was nice, it showed evidence of having major unibody work, including a very telling repair to a Shelby specific production line issue <my opinion only, I don't know everything, and I am not looking for a fight!>. As time goes on, the few cars that are left will bring ven bigger $, IMHO. No question cars with verifiable histories will allways be worth a bit more, and this car, being a pre-production car, along with it's movie history was worth a premium to the buyer.
