T10 markings

    What are the letters and numbers for on the plate seperating the front case and the tail section. Is it some kind of Borg Warner ID?

    This located high on the shifter side.

    If you are talking about the markings stamped

    in the back end of the housing, not the plate

    it's the assembly date code. The one on my car

    has D295 2, which means April 29, 1965, second shift.
