Thanks for the help. I'll give Mike a call.
Maybe he can supply a speedo gear also.

Looking for a 3rd gear (24 tooth) for a 1966 Borg Warner T10. Any help would be appreciated in locating a gear in good condition for 1966 Mustang application. A May 1975 Ford parts book calls it C6ZZ7B340-A. Thanks, Charlie

Duncan, I have one rat holed away for my car. Was planning on using it when I bring it back to some resemblence of original. What are you looking for? Charlie
-
Don, WHAT DATE CENTER SECTIONS DO YOU HAVE FOR A 66?
THANKS, CHARLIE

Thanks Fred for the reply. I am looking to replace my 3rd member (differential) with a 3.50 OPEN set up like it came from the factory.
Needed to know the original part number on the ring gear to help me idenify it when I ran accross one. Is it correct that the ring gear, pinion and carrier had dates on them. If this is true, I have my work cut out for me.

Does anybody know the correct part number for a 1966 3.50 Ratio Ring Gear? I believe its a 8 3/4" unit. Any individual part numbers for that whole OPEN assembly would be appriciated.

Does this mean all engines that left Dearborn were complete and had a assembly date stamp?
-
When was the engine assembly date stamped on the front of the engine with the inspector letter? Was this done in Dearborn or when the car was headed down the assembly line? Thanks for the help! TRACTIONBAR

Anybody on this site looking for a 66 shelby T10? Both the case and tail shaft are aluminum. It is in excellent shape with no repair. The asking price is $7000. I also have an original intake, valve covers and oil pan all correct for a 66 SHELBY GT 350.

Do you still have the transmission? Why so much for it? What gears does it have? Was thinking of building a TVR Griffith and that would be a good xsmn. for it.

What are the letters and numbers for on the plate seperating the front case and the tail section. Is it some kind of Borg Warner ID?
This located high on the shifter side.
