ORIGINAL FORD HOOD TACHOMETER

Manufactured by Dixco in the late sixties.

This tach is in great shape and has been boxed and carefully stored for over 25 years.

The screen is clear and unmarked as is the cover which still has its' original shiny black finish.

The insides are perfect and the rubber gasket that seals it to the hood is still fresh and flexible.

The tach is roughly 7 3/4 inches long and 5 1/4 inches wide at the face, and it also has the original threaded “plastic rod” that the wires hang down thru that screws up into the bottom of it and attaches it to the hood.

I don't have the original box or instructions.

This rare piece is not cheap! Make me an offer.

I would prefer to try and sell it here before it goes on e-bay.

Dixco re made the tach again i think around early 80's.

I have one on my 75 F-100 4X4, except it has the HTX logo instead of the Ford logo. They have become quite collectible/rare. I just had mine completely gone through by redline gauge works, it's really a neat unit. I've seen them on e-bay go for quite a bit of $$$.
