10/28/06 Citrus Heights, CA Fudd's Halloween Show

I'm not sure if there are any other Sacramento, CA area K owners, but I wanted to post a quick note on a car show in Citrus Heights, CA scheduled for Oct 28th. The details are noted in the attached link http://capitolcitycruisers.org/ I just entered online and I'm car #10 (show is limited to 100 cars), so there is still time.

This will be my Kar's first show since I've owned her (5 yrs now) and fresh off a re-restoration completed last month. There are still a few things I need to do (who doesn't always have a list going in their head of Kar "to do's"), but I think it's time to get her out there.

Kevin, congrats on getting your car to a show! Your car would be more appreacited at a Mustang and Ford show, I'm going to the Mustang Plus show on 10/21/06. Of all shows that I have attended this show has more K's than any other. I don't think that you could get a spot, it's kind of late but you could get on stand by or even show and we could still get together. Call and see what they have to say. If you decide to show up I have a 64.5 Poppy red coupe. Laki

Thanks, Laki. I tried to get my Kar registered for the Mustang Plus show, but I was too late to the party. In the end it wouldn't have worked out anyway since I'm now traveling to Oregon to visit family that weekend. In any case, the Fuddrucker's show will be the first of many to come. Just a reminder that the Halloween Car show at Fuddrucker's (Sunrise Blvd) is this Saturday between 10-2PM. Even if you're not able to show your car, it should be a fun event.
