• Hey Fellas

Took the Mustang to her first show on Monday. This was an annual show held in a tiny Suffolk village miles from anywhere, with no prizes or judging, just a great day out.

The variety or cars that turn up is nothing short of astonishing, the entry list reads like Jay Lenos garage inventory.

A few notables were, Stanley steamer + 2 other steamers, 2 pre war Bugattis, Hispano Suiza, WW1 truck, Facel Vega, Mini Cooper (ex Monte Carlo rally car),Lotus, Jags, Aston DB7 Zagato, Ford GT, Noble,

Many many more + loads of old British stuff from pre war on.

Blue sky and warm beer perfect.

Its OK the guy who looks like he is trying to lever open my vent window is a mate.

  • <font face='Comic Sans MS'>A great looking car you have there. And topping off your day, the sun was out in full force.

We've had 67 days of 100 degrees or more here in Austin TX so far this Summer. Two more and we will tie the 1925 record of 69. Yipes! I'm ready for some clouds.

During my 3 yrs at RAF Lakenheath (79-82), the sun was always a welcome sight. [Blocked Image: http://s4.tinypic.com/30w2jyw_th.jpg]

I am amazed to hear you were over here, as I have said before my father in law was at Lakenheath for about 15 yrs (when you were there). Nothing much has changed in Suffolk its a great place to live.

I have some clouds for you , this is the view from my backdoor now - 1 day later!!
