66 K CODE GT CONVERTIBLE

  • I have a 66 factory GT k code convertible that I am selling. The car was converted to a shelby clone in the early 70's. I bought the car because it had the original over the counter shelby steering wheel installed in it as well as the original 10 spoke shelby wheels. Since the owner would not sell individually I bought the whole car. I brought the car The car is now back to original color (T). It is not a matching numbers and and it is the rare automatic. I've check for all the GT signs and everything is there, radiator support holes stamped, fog light switch, brackets under the seat for dual exhaust, frame rails have extra brackets for support etc. My asking price before I put it on ebay is $35000. The car is in excellent mechanical condition and is very fast. This is a very fun car to drive. This car is well know in the shelby industry. I was able to get the name of the previous owner who converted it to a Shelby through Haword Pardee who is in charge of the 65-66 shelby in the registry. All panels and floors appear original. The car is a San Jose car(6R08Kxxxxxx). The vin is present on both driver and passenger side. From the time it was converted to a shelby in the 70's, it has been driven to car shows and on weekends. Please email me any question to bracrez@aol.com. I would keep the car but I already own three k code convertibles so here it is.
