'66 "C" code with CA smog equipment??

    I saw a real decent looking driver quality '66 "C" code coupe yesterday at a local show that had CA smog equipment still all intact-I thought I would have seen a "R" for SJ plant but it was from Dearborn "F" were cars destin for CA in fact built at Dearborn as well??

    It would be unusual, as far as I have seen, for a 66 California car to have been built in Dearborn but it appears that you may have seen one. The DSO would need to be 71 or 72 most likely. Did you catch that on the tag?

    No, Fred I didn't look at the tag-wish I had!! car was for sale for $12.5k-there was even a belt on the smog pump-I never wittnessed the engine running though....interesting.........
