Once again, what an incredible collection of super nice Mustangs in Ashville. There were 474 total on the grounds and many nice K codes and other rare Kars! Charles brought his freshly finished convertible, Dan drove his again all the way from Ohio. and Meryln was there too. It was nice to see Richard and all the others. Its a shame the show season is almost over. What a nice site, great weather, lots of shade and many, many memories. See everyone next year!

What a great show, I got to see many K code owners and many many nice cars. Congrats to Merlin on his medallion and it was good to see Richard and Matt and Russell. Hope everyone has a nice rest of the show season, Guess I will see everyone next year in Virginia Beach and Ashville.

Dave I think we have beaten this horse to death!! Again, I am not angry at anyone and as stated just wish to have the names corrected, Really, its not enough to make me lose sleep! I give you the award for the entire project, always have and always will. Life is too short for such trival issues, I hope that Mustang Monthly can list a correction next issue, if not Its ok!! Bring that car to the Eastcoast wont you!!! I wanna see my cars twin!!

Super look forward to seeing you receive the medallion in Raleight Congrats!!! That is quite an accomplishment. And you are correct , no speaker and all the noise from the drag racing made it very difficult to hear much of anything!!! See everyone in Raleigh!!

System fits perfect andI had it welded at a local muffler shop, Sounds Great! Charles, I stated that I knew it was an oversight and that it was listed incorrectly, No fuss at all, I dont mind being listed as the dummy who threw away a valuable piece of FoMoCo history, just wish to have it listed correctly for prospeity, As stated no hard feelings and I knew it was a simple error. I dont want you to think I am angry just want it noted correctly, I am sure you would want the same done if the roles were reversed. I hope to see many K code owners in Raleigh in July

Very small swap meet area, a few Mustangs made passes down the track, but Sat was a diesel truck drag and Sun was a regular drag day where anyone could drag. 550 or so cars, more Shelbys than I had seen for a very long time on display and the usual unoraganized checkin and adwards presentation that goes along with most MCA events.

Charles , I stated that the oversight was not yours, but Jim Smart. I just want proper credit given where due. In this case Dave did all the legwork to get the Arvinode system reproducedand thus deserves the credit. Perhaps you can contact the folks at Mustang Monthly for the correction in regard to whose car the exhaust was removed from. No hard feelings just want to make the account of events accurate. Thanks for helping to straighten out this matter. See everyone in Raleigh!

Just read the article in the July issue of Mustang Monthly and wish to make a correction to an overall good article. My friend Steve Ball did the restoration on my dad's 65 K code and he took the picture of the exhaust lying on the garage floor , not Charle Turner. I am not sure if Charles had anything to do with the article, but it did note he supplied to pic of a car he was restoring ( I supplied the pic to Charles and he had no part with the restoration) I am sure it is an oversight and I hope that Charles will contact Jim Smart and Donald Farr for the correction. Dave Wallace actually did all the hard work with the exhaust , all I did was supply a picture and as it turned out assisted the group with the reproduction.
