5 Speed manual vs Automatic

    It shouldn't really come as any surprise around here. The original HiPo 289 car, the 1963 Fairlane, only had a 3 or 4 speed manual transmission. The HiPo Mustangs didn't offer the automatic until 1966, and the overwhelming majority of '66 and '67 K code Mustangs were ordered with a 4 speed...
