"This hard-to-find 1965 Mustang was driven over 500 miles each way to the Hot August Nights event and never missed a beat, while getting great fuel mileage. It was built at the San Jose Assembly Plant in July of 1964 and, according to the accompanying documentation, remained with Ford Product Engineering until November 12, 1965."

Important Disclosure Regarding Authenticity
This Mustang is being represented honestly and transparently based upon the seller's knowledge and the documentation included with the vehicle.
The current owner purchased the car approximately two years ago from the estate of the previous owner. The vehicle has always been represented to him as an authentic factory K-Code Mustang and is accompanied by a substantial amount of historical documentation. However, the seller cannot independently verify the authenticity of every document or every component installed on the vehicle.
Recently, questions have been raised by an individual suggesting the car may be a K-Code clone rather than an original factory K-Code. While the vehicle exhibits many characteristics expected of an authentic K-Code including:
K-Code-specific engine accessories
Correct-style carburetor
Dual-point distributor
9-inch rear axle
Matching VIN stampings located in the factory apron locations
the seller cannot guarantee that the vehicle remains an original, numbers-matching K-Code.
The vehicle has always been represented to him as originally Wimbledon White.
The body VIN stampings correspond with the vehicle identification paperwork.
The original-style door data plate may have been replaced during restoration.
A partial VIN stamping has not been located on the engine block; period documentation indicates this was not present on every early Ford engine.
While the engine retains the correct external K-Code components, the originality of internal engine components cannot be verified.
Accordingly, prospective buyers are encouraged to perform their own inspection and authentication if factory originality is an important consideration in their purchasing decision.
