On april 18th this month in route from Western NY to my sisters home in Virginia my father suffered a stroke in the seat next to me in my van on route I,29 in Nelson county Virginia. The local emergency medical team arrived in 15 minutes to assist and transport him to University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville Va where he is now recovering and undergoing therapy .It just goes to show that anything can happen when you are away from home on the road .if any one on this site is a member of U.V.hospital or the ambulance team in Nelson county Va we thank you all, chuck.
