1965 3939 SB NOS fuel pump service replacement

This is an over-the-counter service replacement with a date code, 30F2C for a June 30, 1972, stamped on the mounting flange. 3939SB is stamped on the other flange area. This is the CARTER stamping and is the later version and has the dual spring and correct arm stamped, 177-226. Canister is the Fomoco version.

Nice part to have as an extra or if date codes are not a concern and want the original look.

I tried to take as many close-up photos to show the details and condition. Ask any questions or if additional photos are needed just let me know.

Very nice pump and price but due to its build date, which was before the Ethanol laced fuels, it may need to be rebuilt. It also may run for a long time before the Ethanol does its damage to the diaphragm and valves.
