Please note the following in regards to the proper application. This driveshaft uses the Mechanics type of U-Joints with inside clips. The application varies with your Kars production date.

The Ford MPC states that 289 Special drive shafts before 10/5/64 used the outside clips. These are considered to be Ford rather than Mechanics type U-Joints as Mechanics type use inside clips. Hopefully this ends the confusion on this.
