NOT a Hipo Fuel Pump on eBay

  • Fred maybe you can confirm, but doesn't look like a hipo. No second spring and looks like the fuel pump arm is for a big block.

Seller claiming it is a Hipo in the ad title and description:

    "NOS OEM Ford R/M 1965 1966 1967 289 HiPo Fuel Pump"

"Up for auction is a NOS Remanufactured button top style fuel pump for a 1965-1967 289 HiPo motor...."

Good catch, Rich! This seller is notorious for putting these pumps on Ebay and falsley advertising them. At least he mentions that it has a single spring. I have messaged him several times on this over the years but he does not care.Yes it is a big block arm and it has a 3/8" inlet nipple because this is actually for a pickup truck from 1968 until 1972. Plus it is a less desireable CARTER casting rather than CARbureTER Made in USA which changed around March 1967.
