Hello...I joined to share info of my grandfather's car, and if the present owner is about, would love to know the present day status of it. Hal Howard bought 5R07K178473 at Paul Swanson Ford in Los Gatos, CA. Hal was a WWII vet who was an electronics tech with the Army Air Corps. The Honey Gold/Black 65 K code coupe was his daily driver for 5 years as he commuted to work as a technical writer at IBM in San Jose. Early on he stopped driving it regularly but took meticulous car of it. I think it had less than 50,000 miles on it in the early 1990's. Hal was married with two daughters and lived in the Willow Glen neighborhood of San Jose. He sold the car in the mid to late 1990's.
