• Just got a hipo motor and it had this road draft tube attached. It does clear the hipo exhaust manifold, going between it and the engine. However, it doesn't look exactly like the diagram in Bob Mannel's book, which has two support straps. It also looks a little straighter at the bottom.

    Anyone know if it is?

    Trying to find the unicorn....

    PS: It "may" be from a Fairlane too, as looks like they transplanted the motor from a Mustang into a Fairlane.

    The Hipo only Mustang valve cover type road draft tube is actually a Hipo only 1965 Fairlane part number C5OZ 6758 A.
