Very nice original Autolite 4100 HiPo Carburetor C3OF-AJ offered for sale! This is a very rare and hard to find carburetor that was used on the early 289 K Code HiPo engines. This is the early Auto-choke version.

The Carburetor was disassembled and inspected! It was carefully and gently cleaned, with the preservation of the original finishes and patina in mind. The inside was cleaned and rebuilt using new style needle and seats but keeping the original brass floats. All new gaskets, power valve and diaphragms were installed. The hard to find original float return springs and fuel transfer baffles were also reinstalled. The body and mechanical parts are all original and are in perfect shape!

Note: The mechanical parts like the throttle shaft and choke shafts appeared to be in excellent condition and were not removed. Original clips and fasteners reused where possible!

Great candidate for a high-level restoration or use as is and keep the patina!
