Looking to buy a 1965 8k rally pac

Paul, Please keep in mind that ALL Rally Pacs are 1965 part numbers. The low profile Rally Pac, although more associated with the 1966 model year, is still a 1965 part number. Ford differentiated the high and low profile difference only by the type of instrument cluster. Your Kar has the Falcon type speedometer with fuel and temp gauges and idiot lights. This will be of the high profile type as that Rally Pac pushes up to the instrument cluster and hides the wiring. If you get desperate enough for perfection, I do have a couple of NOS high profile 8K Rally Pacs. I only have about a dozen used ones remaining, but they may not be up to your standards.
