    Here is a Holman Moody aluminum intake by Ebay seller "sirelliott" with a starting bid of $2,350.00:

    You are bidding on a very nice REAL DEAL HOLMAN MOODY 260 289 HIPO 4V aluminum intake manifold. HM9424-1 I talked to Lee Holman about it and asked him what this intake was since it did not match anything else I've seen. His reply was that it was most likely an early intake for one of the experimental cars, early Cobras or Tigers.

    MUSTANGTEK says this:

    This piece is evolutionary from a Holman-Moody 221/260 intake from circa 1961 and some early Cobras with HP260s used the manifold with Holman-Moody logo. (Original Cobra and Tiger intakes show traces of the Holman-Moody thunderbird logo.)

    Either way it's the REAL DEAL and NOT a Blue Thunder or any other repro. Excellent manifold. No porting or cutting has been done on this intake. Has been cleaned, but not painted. Will make a nice addition to your OEM restoration or daily driver.

    I purchased intake the intake… this is extremely rare with the original thunderbird Hm logo.. excellent piece of history unaltered.. after my research there are maybe a handful left in this shape. I also purchased the C3OE heads on eBay they are a site to behold…

    Here is a Holman Moody aluminum intake by Ebay seller "mustangmasters428" with a starting bid of $795.00:

    Here we have a ultra rare Holman Moody Ford over the counter performance aluminum intake part number for a small block Ford. This dual plane 289 / 302 Factory high rise intake manifold was offered over the counter by Ford as a replacement for the cast iron version used on cars such as the Shelby Clones and more. Unlike the cast Shelby this is a great piece for the Mustang Fairlane Ranchero Torino and other owners its a great piece. The other models needed a performance package to substitute for the 'Cobra' used this as Fords alternative to get the job done by adding a powerful 4 barrel with a unlabeled front pawl.

    Identical in design to its counter part Cobra intake, which was engineered as a racing product by Ford's designers. This piece was instant horsepower, easily bolted on, and when properly mated with a carburetor, a successful upgrade. Our inspection revealed no welds or breaks, and it has seen very little use with the ports in great shape with no abuse. The bolt holes show some wear with a heli coil and some oblong bolt holes .This should be acceptable for someone who is trying to dress their car nostalgic Ford style and at the same time enjoy better performance.

    The Ford Over the Counter Racing program was supported by the Holman Moody Racer team. With the decline of the Shelby program, Ford moved into a different era in pushing their own products, and intakes like this were the result. The same exact design with different stamping, yet cast in 'Buddy Bar' as the 302 version and the like. Good design, quality products, Ford Tested and Engineered, this is a sure winner for those trying to step their car up a notch and at the same time retain value - don't miss the opportunity to buy one of these rare products which was offered for 2 years only before being discontinued as the Windsor motor was put out to pasture and replaced by the Clevelands.
